Terms of Agreement — CD-9 Canvassing Tool

By requesting access to the private walk-pack portal (d9-canvasser.pages.dev) or otherwise using this canvassing tool — walk packs, the live results dashboard, or exported voter data — you agree to the following.

1. Who this covers

Anyone with portal access: turf leads, volunteers, canvassers, and data captains working on behalf of a campaign or committee using this tool.

2. Purpose-limited use

Access is granted solely for door-to-door canvassing and related political activity in support of the campaign(s)/committee(s) you're authorized to represent. Voter data made available through this tool may not be used for any other purpose, including personal, commercial, or unrelated political use.

3. Voter data confidentiality

Walk packs contain voter names, addresses, and contact history.

• Do not share, forward, download, screenshot, or otherwise distribute voter data outside your canvassing team.

• Do not use voter data to contact voters through any channel other than the canvass itself, unless separately authorized by your campaign.

• Report a lost or stolen device with pack access to your turf lead immediately.

4. Accurate reporting

Record canvass results (Canvassed / Not home / Moved / Refused, support score, issues) honestly and only for doors you actually knocked. Shared results are relied on by other campaigns and volunteers to avoid double-knocking — inaccurate results undermine that for everyone.

5. Account access

Portal access is granted per email address and may be revoked at any time, including mid-session, at the discretion of the turf lead or data administrator. Do not share your login code with anyone else.

6. No warranty

This tool is provided as-is by volunteers, with no warranty of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Geocoding, precinct assignment, and narrative content may contain errors — use judgment in the field.

7. Termination

Access may be revoked for violating these terms, at the end of the election cycle, or when you're no longer active with the campaign/ committee.

8. Acceptance

Requesting or using portal access constitutes acceptance of these terms.
